FAQ:
Q1: Are electronics cheap in Okorder.com?
A: Of course. They are very cheap. The factories provide the goods. One-stop sourcing.
Q2: Why are electronics so cheap in ok order?
A: On ok order they are the lowest price. Because it is a wholesale website and factory provide goods.
Q3: Do all electronics have silicon in them?
A: No but most modern ones do. Older electronics that don't require micro chips don't have to have silicon at all, and their mother boards are made from copper. Silicon is used in micro chips as a semi-conductor in modern electronics but some other semi-metals, like gallium and germanium can also be used. Silicon is just the most common because it is so plentiful.

Q:I bought a usb card reader, does it store files like songs and word documents, if so how do i save them to it? I plug it in and nothing comes up or anything. 10 points!:)
Affirmative.
Q:I figured out i need the driver software but i cant find it any where, i have a Hp pavilion a1130n. i know its not a formatting issue or anything like that. i just need the software to get it to work. if you know where it can be found please tell me.
You don't say which operating system you're using on your computer so I'm afraid you'll have to take a look on the following site. Edit: I've just had a look for drivers for both operating systems, but I can't see anything that relates specifically to your memory card reader, though it might come under HP Multimedia Keyboard/Mouse Driver Update. Sorry I couldn't be of any real help.
Q:i rebooted my computer and reinstalled all my cd drivers, but found my card reader wont pick up that a card has been put in there. I tried turning off and restarting my computer, both didn't work and my computer tells me there arnt any updates for it and its working properly have you come across this? how did you fix it thank you soooo Muchmy computers a dell(windows vista)
Did you use a disc to format and reinstall Vista? Why didn`t you just take it back to facory settings (F8 at startup) and all your drivers would be there automatically. Reply to added info. No it isn`t the same, a restore to factory settings includes all your drivers. It may not be a driver issue though, as you say it`s reported to be working properly. I`m assuming it`s saying this in device manager. I have this problem in my desktop, the built in card reader won`t read some cards but reads others. I use a usb card reader to overcome the problem. This is the type of thing I mean, very cheap and worth having to hand, I have a few bought from China for about 15p each.
Q:does anyone know of a really good medium or card reader in London?
Sorry okorder
Q:i got a new card reader and i've just rebooted my system and now my pc wont read it.when i insert nothins happening nothing at all and the card reader's fine i checked it.
What OS are you using? Windows 7 came out yesterday with an update for their USB driver. Try uninstalling your USB driver, reboot the computer and click on Windows Update. By the way, just to clarify, REBOOT Click on Start Restart. It's also called 'Restarting' the computer.
Q:Hey,So I have an LG Rumor I have a memory card in my phone, and I'm wondering if it would be better to buy a card reader or USB Data Cable. Which works better? I only have the memory card. Which is less money? Thanks, rebecca
Both have their advantages, but if your computer or laptop has the capability, I'd say card reader is definitely the way to go. For one thing, they're likely to be much cheaper than a data cable and for another, there aren't any special drivers or software you need to install before you can insert your memory card. Hope this helps!
Q:i have all my pics on my comp and i need them on my memory card?
i don't have Verizon, yet i latterly have been given a Samsung s3 via ATT, they copied each little thing over and went out to my motor vehicle to pair it with hands loose. All you need to do is ask.
Q:I was a bit frazzled when buying my computer because I was in school at the time and so much stuff was going on, or else I would have bogged down those guys with questions. (Lol, I stuck to the generic zillion I usually ask)and was just wondering about that. Alsowhat is a super-multi drive?
A 14-in-one card reader is a device that allows you to insert 14 different types of external cards, like SD, Compact flash, Sony Duo and so forth. These cards would be used in devices like camera's, phones, or other electronic devices. Not sure about the super-multi drive. It might refer to a CD ROM drive that is able to read from multiple CD's types.
Q:I bought a usb card reader, does it store files like songs and word documents, if so how do i save them to it? I plug it in and nothing comes up or anything. 10 points!:)
It can't store anything. You can put memory cards[1] in it, and it can read and write data to and from them (then THEY can store the data (any kind of data, a computer file is just a computer file, it doesn't matter what is in it)). [1] compact flash, SD, and various others, which ones are supported depends on the particular card reader
Q:Ideally this reader would scan the card, and put it both into an excel spread sheet or MS Outlook (my choice). I think I mentioned that I want to build some mailing lists, but not have them be all in my Outlook database. So, an excel spread sheet will house these individual lists. Any ideas?
If such a thing exists, it would likely be very expensive and not work very well. The problem isn't in reading the cards but making sense out of what is read. Business cards are far from standard in appearance and content. By the time that you scan in the cards, even automatically, and then proof read what the Optical Character Reader has created from the scans, you could probably have typed in the information more accurately. I have done quite a bit of OCR work in the past and the greatest time consumer was proof reading.
