The tile is made by high-density fiberglass with compound decoration wool on the surface and fiberglass wool on the back .The edges are painted. With the characteristics of square in edges and angle,it will be parallel to suspension system after installation.

Product Applications:

The panels are udes widely in schools, offices, music studios, lecture theatres,
multi purpose halls, interview rooms, training areas and cinemas. They meet the
requirements of BB93 of Building Regulations for acoustics in school buildings and

Product Advantages:

Saves headroom space because exceptional noise absorption effectiveness is achieved by low (30mm) material thickness.

Surfaces can be emulsion painted to any colour without significant loss in noise
absorption. Increase savings due to fast and easy installation.Lightweight and therefore are ideal for adhering to ceilings, which do not have a very high load bearing capabilities.

Meets BB93 standards for school acoustics as well as common areas in flats for Building
Regulations.

Reinforced edges for increased durability.

Q:Building materials in the ceiling of the hypotenuse or what level of meaning
A ceiling is a flat ceiling that is not in the same plane, similar to a ladder
Q:I'm afraid that joint compound might not adhere well to plywood.
Joint compound will adhere very well to the plywood, but the movement of the plywood from temperature and humidity changes will cause the compound to crack. If this is an issue, batten strips may be the answer.
Q:I just bought a home with an unfinished basement. I was thinking of finishing the basement and creating a game room. I wanted to soundproof it but I dont want to spend a ton of money. I know that I can buy soundproof drywall but that stuff is expensive! Is there anything that I can stuff between the ceiling beams to soundproof the room? I dont want to put in a double layer of sheetrock becuase the ceiling is already only 7 feet. Thanks!
The Ceiling Ceilings are also a source of concern for many homeowners. Whether you have noisy children or pets that like to run around, sound can emanate through the ceiling and into living spaces. There are a few ways that you can soundproof a ceiling, however: * Cover the Upstairs Floors: By adding carpeting or special soundproof matting to the upstairs floors, you can reduce the movement of sound through the ceiling. * Insulate the Ceiling: If you’re up to it, you can remove the drywall on your ceiling, and insert layers of fiberglass insulation. You can also add soundproof tiling to your ceiling, to stop sound from traveling. This is great for noise reduction.
Q:What is the use of sisal?
At present, the fiber composite composites were prepared by blending sisal fiber and glass fiber with phenolic resin, and the mechanical properties such as bending strength, flexural modulus, no notched impact strength, electrical properties and water immersion property were found. Positive mixing effect, low water absorption performance, no significant impact on electrical performance. Is a new industrial composite materials, high strength, wear resistance, comprehensive performance is better.
Q:Foreign psychic division is doing
I can not laugh or cry. Spirit media speculation is not scientific and factual basis, and therefore can not be used for court. When people are in despair, they often ask the common people to ask spirits. The police occasionally because of spiritual media pointing and solve the case, but the probability is only one ten thousandth. The spirit of the media will take the opportunity to play, wantonly publicity its psychic power, but avoid talking about the cases they have misled.
Q:I'm trying to hang something heavy from my ceiling and I can't find a joist through the drywall. I've tried using a studfinder, and I can't really get into the attic area because it's insulated with loose fiberglass. Can anyone help?
We re trying to install a ceiling mounted storage unit into our condo s garage and could also not find the ceiling joists. We called out builder and he said since it s a condo with living space above the garage there are three layers of Sheetrock for fire proofing, so we would need to use 3 nails and hit them up into the ceiling until we find a joist. A stud finder will not work in this instance. Suffice it to say we gave up on that project. :-(
Q:Due to circumstances too complicated to go into, my husband and I ended up trying to finish the drywall on our kitchen ceiling ourselves. We were in a bind and couldn't get a contractor, so we used compound, taped, sanded, primed and painted the ceiling 2 weeks ago. In some places the tape has bubbled, in others it's clearly visable under the tape, the ceiling looks, well, bad.My question is: how best to fix it? Do we sand down to the original tape (please, nononono!) and redo it? Is there a textured paint we could use? Pressed tin panels (country house)? We don't have a lot to spend on the project, so any advice would be appreciated! (Yes, I know we messed-up when we painted)
When doing drywall you have to treat it as an art form. Much like putting icing on a cake. Also, it should have taken about 3 days for the joint compound to dry fully. My suggestion would be to reapply joint compound and be liberal with it where the tape is having problems. Next wait 2 days and then sand those areas. Then re apply more compound, a much thinner layer this time. Wait 2 days and sand again, lightly. Then paint. About the texturing.... you can get a brush from a home improvement place the is used for texturing ceilings with joint compound, just ask someone who works there. Then just dab joint compound on the ceiling.
Q:I am doing some minor remodeling on a house. I wanted texture on the walls but didn't want to deal with the mess (and expertise required) of spray texture, so I'm creating a custom texture on the walls by hand using lite joint compound and a 12" taping knife. My question is: what do I do on the ceilings? Can I do the same thing on the walls, or will I kill my back (especially if it needs sanding). I've heard of people wrapping a small piece of plywood in plastic and using it to apply joint compound to the ceiling such that it creates little stalactites that you knock down after they have hardened slightly. That sounds difficult to get uniform across the entire ceiling. What should I do?
First of all, I'm not a fan of TEXURE anything, especially ceilings. This is just my two cents, but I'm also not a fan of using Lite Mud for the purpose. Obviously Texturing is fad/ trendy, and all over the planet. If you have to go texture, especially on a ceiling, learn how to do the Knock Down technique, or have it done. Easy texturing would be sand paint, or even Fiberglass based stucco. Part of a thought in the design of Texturing is NOT UNIFORM albeit Knock Down gives that illusion. BTW,,, it can all be Messy. So much like any other FAUX finishes, texturing is not only a challenge, but an exploration into originality and design. If you're going for Unique, practice first, and judge results of as many methods as you research. I ask only one thing...DO NOT do PopCorn Steven Wolf
Q:Fiberglass sound-absorbing ceilings
Non-combustible performance: A-level, the national authority of the Cl test, measured (GB9624-1997)
Q:I have removed textured wall paper from ceiling, the plasterboard is in very good nick, but has gaps between sheets?I really dont want to have to get it all re-skimmed.would the correct approach be to plasterboard joint tape, then lining paper over over it, before painting?Id appreciate a how to.....
best bet is to redo it all the right way...try the fiberglass joint tape it self sticks and is ez to work with...
