Q:Like for example:Clint Bowyer, Ricky Rudd, Michael Waltrip, Dale Sr,Scott Riggs, Johnny Sauter, Richard Petty, Ricky Craven, Jimmy Horton, Dale Jarrett, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Bill Elliott, Casey Mears, Kyle Busch, Bobby Allison at Pocono, and other famous drivers too.
well juicy is very incorrect stock cars are around 3400 hundred pounds. if i could flip that with one hand i certainly wouldnt be on this site anwering questions. but on the other hand, it has to do with aerodynamics. when the cars go forward at 180+ miles per hour, it isnt a problem. however, when the cars are turned backwards or sideways the wind path changes. It is the same concept as what causes an airplane to achieve lift. the air going over the top of the car has to move faster, thus decreasing pressure and allowing the car to lift. this is why roof flaps were implemented, to increase resistance above the car.
Q:Like seriouslyJust walk outside, grab the rear bumper and squat down a few inches and lift it off the ground? And do you believe it‘s impossible for you to do that?
No, but I can leap over buildings.
Q:I am still trying to find the best value in a car lift. My garage is crowed with three cars and a wood working shop. I want to put a car in the air so that I can get it out of the way and work on them easier. There are a lot of hobby lifts out there but some are not worth the effort. "Back Yard Buddy" seems to be the best but it is also expensive. Any Suggestions are highly being appreciated. Thanks
I have a 2 post Bend Pack lift. It is a 10,000lb lift that I bought new for $2200. It holds my F350 crew cab utility bed 4x4 truck no problem What you should do is contact an install company (go to a local shop and ask who services their lifts) and ask them what kind of deals they have on used lifts.
Q:Rick is raising a 1200-kg car on his hydraulic lift so that he can work underneath. If the are of the input piston is 12 cm? while the output piston is 700 cm? , how much force must be exerted on the input piston to lift the car?
Rick is raising a 1200-kg car on his hydraulic lift so that he can work underneath. If the area of the input piston is 12 cm? while the output piston is 700 cm? , the force that must be exerted on the input piston to just lift the car is given by P (12/700)*1200 kgwt 20 4/7 kgwt ANSWER
Q:as a male supposing she saw you and you were a decent looking male and she was hot and she stopped her car to ask for directions than offered you a lift to somewhere would you hop in with her in a dark road with few people and houses
Well I'm not a male but if a hot guy did that I wouldn't get in the car no matter how hot he was.
Q:hi i am removing an old single post air drive hydraulic lift/hoist and was wondering the best way to remove it. i do have access to plenty of tools and i have some one helping me. i would appreciate fast responses because we are starting on saturday. thank you
Great answers, and yeah that sucker IS HEAVY. LOL nobody mentioned that it's actually not hydraulic though. It's pneumatic, it goes up by compressed air. Guess that don't matter too much. Be glad it's not hydraulic. You know how much oil that thing would need? Wow, and that size it would lift an entire building. Those older things are not the safest, true, but you have to get rid of it? LOL wish I had one of those older ones in my garage for certain applications. Maybe you could sell it to a barber shop that does really heavy people. No? LOL Use an impact gun when you take off those old bolts, and I would use something quite a bit heavier duty than uh lets just say a bobcat wouldn't be safe. Payloader should do the tricck with some good chain. You having pizza afterwards then let me know I'll be there (for the pizza) LOL see ya good luck
Q:friction force stops a book that slides 20 cm across a tabletop. (c) A child is held 80 cm above the floor by a 150-N force. (d) A car jack exerts a force of 5000 N on a car and lifts it 20 cm. (e) A car jack exerts a force of 5000 N on a car as lowered 20 cm.I seriously need some help on how you set this problem up.
W work done F x displacement(along line of action of F) i) W 50 N x 0.30 m 15 Joules ii) d -0.20 m (opposite direction to the frictional force) W F x (d) 50 (-0.2) -10 J iii) d 0 W Fx0 0 iv) 5000 x 0.20 1000 J v) the car jack force is a restraining force opposite the displacement direction W - 5000 x .20 -1000 J hope this helps
