FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 60*60 available?

—— Yes. For some series, the size 80*80, 100*100 and 60*120 are also available.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q:The 12 by 12 tiles were laid 7 years ago and nothing is different, but last October some of them over by the exterior wall of the house started tenting. There had been no more or less rain. What would make them do this? Here‘s some more info:-They started cracking in the part of the house that was added on.-The new foundation may not have been sealed.-My brother put them down and he tends to do a crappy job at best. He thinks they were cheap tiles.-I found traces of termites when I started pulling them up (seems unrelated since they‘re ceramic tiles, but one never knows...)Any advice on replacing them would be greatly appreciated!
When installing floor tiles you have to have the right surface under them. You would need either a self leveling cement surface applied or cement board installed first before the tile is installed. If this wasn't done first the floor below the tiles will absorb moisture and expand and contract from the different humidity levels causing the tiles to break loose.
Q:I am having glass tile installed. It is in a high use area...backsplash with lots of good cooking going on...should it be sealed, and if so by what kind of sealer. The glass tile is frosted. Thanks.
If it weren't for the grout joints, you wouldn't have to apply sealer to the area. Grease and oil splatter from frying will not soak into the glass tiles, but it will soak into the grout joints. Eventually, the grout joints will become discolored and impossible to clean. For that reason, it is a good idea to apply sealer to the area. Keep in mind that you will have to thoroughly clean the area, especially the grout joints, every couple of years and reapply a new coat of sealer. Good luck with your new glass tile backsplash.
Q:I want to lay tile on a house I just bought. What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain tile and which one would be the best fit for my house? The tile is going to be in the living room, dinning room, and kitchen. Also, how much is it going to cost me for labor to lay down the tile? Total square feet is going to be around 600 sq ft.
Both can be equally good or bad. Porcelain is usually a harder bodied tile than a ceramic. Overall you ll get a more consistent sizing w/ porcelains. Most all porcelains now are a glazed porcelain as opposed to the real good color thru out bodied porcelains. You ll have to see a tile to fully under stand the difference. What you need to do is compare apples to apples as far as the ratings(0-4). Using a 3/4 rated tile only in the house. This is a slip resistance rating. Then there is tinsel strength ( breakage) . And last is ohms or scratch resistance. Get the fact sand do some comparison shopping. As far as the labor, it can run from3-5$ a s/f depending on the area you live in. This won t include setting materials ( thin sets , grouts, cement board if needed) These are taxable items and each jobs vary as you may or may not need the cement board if your on a slab floor for example. Any other questions you can e mail me thru my avatar and check my qualifications there GL
Q:The grout in my bathroom is cracking bad and i just had it installed a little over a year ago. I called a different tile guy to look at it and tell me why its cracking. So im trying to figure out who riped me off or whos trying to rip me off. this new tile guy said the grout is cracking because the other tile guy didnt pull the old vinyl up. I remember the other tile guy told me that the vinyl was my moisture barrier so i didnt need anything put on the floor other than the glue ( or whatever you call it) So this new tile guy is saying thats the reason why my grout is cracking because he needed to pull up the old vinyl and the grout would continue to crack until that was done. So that means i need my whole floor re-done with new tile.....so is this new tile guy telling me the truth. Can you install tile over vinyl?
All I can say is: its on the whole now not a excellent concept to position it proper on best. It turns into much more likely for it to arise. And then the procedure of taking on a layer of laminate and a layer of ceramic tile might be that a lot more difficult while it got here approximately. I suppose the one technique to make that paintings with out taking on the ceramic tile is to make an air tight seal among the two. I could not supply you any strategies on how to try this although.
Q:Jinjiang tiles wholesale market where?
Jinjiang City, Ya said Erythrina, Rui Tong, Quanan. China's Fujian Province under the jurisdiction of the county-level city, from Quanzhou prefecture-level city escrow. Is the core of the southern Fujian Golden Triangle, and Taiwan separated by a water, known as "Quannan Buddha", "beach Zou Lu" reputation. Due to the special geographical location, history, Jinjiang in the economy, military, culture occupies an important position, is the ancient "Maritime Silk Road" one of the important starting point. Jinjiang is the strongest comprehensive county in Fujian Province, is also one of China's most economically developed counties and cities, set the Minnan Golden Triangle Economic Development Zone, the famous hometown of overseas Chinese, Taiwan compatriots in one of the main ancestral home. Q:hi i started a tile job yesterday. i was supposed to pull up the old linoleum tile and put new linoleum yile. the only problem was that the ols tile had been put over older tile without being pulled up. so i chipped away a little at a time and it just seemed like it took a long long time. i have blisters all over my right fingers and hand. i still have a big patch to finish tonight, and if anyone knows how to get this stuff up faster please let me know, thank you
try a small torch,we used it to get tiles warm it seems to melt glue some. Just be careful gets hot fast.
Q:currently have vinyl tile glued to concrete on grade. Want to install bamboo floor / engineered wood. Can we go on top of existing vinyl?
Possibly. The vinyl tile must be well installed (not coming loose or bubbling or open seams, etc.). If the vinyl tile is a no wax or smooth surface, it may still need to be prepped with a palm sander and 80 grit just enough to give it some tooth. And finally, make certain to contact both manufacturers' reps or technical services to make certain that the new glue is compatible with both the vinyl and the bamboo... and to make certain that this endeavor will not void your warranty. Good luck.
Q:I now want to match the tile and extend it into my living room and dining area. How would I go about finding the same tile?
Doubtful you find an exact match. Tile is produced in runs or lots. The same line from the same manufacturers, may look very different from different runs. Contact the installer and see if he recalls the tile name and retailer. Doubtful, too. But worth a shot. Whatever you find out, you are going to have to get some samples from the retailer or wholesaler and take them home to match them with the tile in the den. If there is a break at the door then it may not be so noticeable if the runs are different. The other problem is if they installed metal edge trim, it is difficult to remove without breaking tile. Your best option may be to go with a different tile or stone, or a different flooring all together like hardwood. Don't rule that out, it may be a viable plan B, if the you can't get a satisfactory match. And yeah, the installer should have left a few extra pieces.
Q:I have a kitchen that currently has 20X20 tile The kitchen has 40 tilesWhat is the square feet of the kitchen?
to determine the square footage of your kitchen, it might be easier to measure the length and the width of your room and then multiply it....for instance if you have a kitchen which is 10ft X 15 ft.....the square footage is 150 sq. feet.....
Q:The tile in my shower floor got torn apart
Without more detail; I have to ask your definition of Torn Apart. I'll assume you mean separated from the substrate? Certainly it would help to know WHY? It would also help to know what the substance of the substrate is; the method of tile install; type of mortar (mastic) and the general condition of any tile that remains in place. Do you have extra tile? Do you have tools such as a Diag. Grinder; you might use to remove old mortar and grout for the substrate and back of each tile piece? I'm remediating 11,000 sq. ft. of tile now; installed improperly in a commercial building basement that floods. Tedious work; but do-able. Steven Wolf
