Q:Hey guys I want to thank you in advance for all your help. I have a european bottom bracket size on my road bike but it has a threaded end (old style) I'm upgrading cranks but the cranks I have have an external bottom bracket (mega exo with the fsa Gossamer crankset). So my question is since both are european can I simply change the bottom brackets? what sort of tools will I need or how much will a shop charge me to change them? Also, is english bottom bracket the same as euro bottom bracket? I know it's quite a few questions but any help is greatly appreciated!
There are 2 important things about fit which is important to know about the old style bottom brackets. 1 Thread type. There are 2, English and Italian/European. They are different and not compatible. 2 The axle length. Each chainset will have a recommended axle length. The length will ensure that the inner ring runs close to chainstay, but not close enough to rub, thus keeping the chain angle to the cogs optimum. Getting the right length is very important. Each manufacturers bottom bracket cups will have different means of removal and even the same manufacturer will have different kinds of removal methods for different models of bottom bracket. So you need to discover and buy the right tools. Cost to change bottom bracket in UK ?10 to ?15 Hope this helps
Q:I was just wondering what are bottom bracket spacers for?

Q:How can I take a 42 inch tv off of the wall bracket?
hacket?
Q:I touched a bracket and my nail pushed it it felt different it kinda moves but not a lot. My ortho appt is tomorrow in the morning, and like, my tooth feels loose, but i know for sure it's not. What should I do
Did you're orthodontist give you wax for you're braces? Well she/he should have, but if you don't have any, that's ok. If you have some wax for braces, then pull of a small piece, roll it in a ball, and gently cover the wax over you're bracket, then smoosh it down, so that it is flat, and covers the whole bracket. If you don't have wax, then you can leave it alone. If it bothers you a lot, then you can just go buy wax, or something you can cover it. If you have NO other choice, cover the bracket with bread. But this is ONLY if you don't have any other choice, and the bracket is making you're lip bleed, or hurting you badly. Hope this helps, and good luck ;)
Q:I have a loose bracket, and had only have had my braces on for about a week. It s the first bracket from the back of my mouth on the left side, and I noticed it was loose when I was just eating some Ice Cream, and I don t understand how it is loose because I haven t eaten anything that would make it loose. I m basically just scared it ll fall out and I ll choke to death, what can I do before I make an appointment?
happened to me many times nothing big. Mine wwas just like your it also came loose first from the side. You won't choke to death its really small. If your scared you could try to pull it off the wire from the back. your not going to die :)
Q:I am nineteen and I have braces. I still have a few baby teeth left in my mouth (one on each side behind the bicuspids and before the first adult molar) and I was wondering why my orthodontics has left those baby teeth with no brackets. (I only have it on a tiny bit over two months and not yet three months). Will he put them on later? I am not quite sure what his plans are for me besides expanding my top arch but I'm just curious. Also, will the adult molars all the way in the back get brackets later on as well? They have none at the moment. Thanks for answering!
there is the possibility which you're genetically lacking some person premolars. in case you have had your expertise enamel bumped off you may have 4 molars (they're the super men), 4 premolars ( the have 2 pointy edges once you run your tongue over them), 4 canines, 4 lateral incisors ( the little men next to your front enamel), and four Incisors (your front enamel) for an entire of 28 enamel that is uncommon to confirm this many person enamel no longer forming yet whats up no longer something is impossible, in the event that they're little one enamel take very solid care of them and that they are able to final a protracted time, in the event that they do supply out your superb option would be implants (that is spendy so beginning as much as shop now could be a reliable thought)
Q:I already had one replaced a few weeks ago. Now the bottom two front teeth bracketts are basically off. (the wire is holding them in.) i have no clue what to do.
about 4 or 5 of my brackets have come off in the almost 3 years that i have had braces (getting them off soon yay!). my ortho didn't have a problem with replacing them he did it for free. i don't think yours would charge, when you get braces, you pay for everything, regardess is wires break or brackets become loose. so if it comes out, he'll just put another one! hope this helps!
Q:f(x) squareroot( (x-5)/(x^2+3x-10) ) the entire problem is under the squareroot. I got [-5,2) U (5, infiniti) not sure if it's right. I know I've asked this a few times but I just feel paranoid that I have the bracket next to -5 in the wrong place, my friend's answer is (-5,2) U [5, infinity)
Your brackets are perfect: One set of parentheses around numerator, and one around denominator, then one around the whole expression to indicate that all of it is under square root. Anyway, I'm assuming you are looking for domain? If so, value under square root must be ≥ 0 (x?5)/(x?+3x?10) ≥ 0 (x?5)/((x+5)(x?2)) ≥ 0 Fraction is ≥ 0 when numerator ≥ 0 and denominator 0 or when numerator ≤ and denominator 0 (x?5) ≥ 0 and (x+5)(x?2) 0 (x ≥ 5) and (x ?5 or x 2) x ≥ 5 (x?5) ≤ 0 and (x+5)(x?2) 0 (x ≤ 5) and (?5 x 2) ?5 x 2 Solution: (?5 x 2) or (x ≥ 5) (?5, 2) U [5, ∞) ————————————————————————— Your friend is correct. The only difference between your answer and your friend's was whether ?5 or 5 is part of solution. So all you have to do is check: If x ?5, then f(x) √((x?5)/(x?+3x?10)) √(?10/(25?15?10)) √(?10/0) f(x) is NOT defined for x ?5, so it is not part of domain If x 5, then f(x) √((x?5)/(x?+3x?10)) √(0/(25+15?10)) √(0/30) 0 f(x) IS defined for x 5, so this value is part of domain
Q:I broke my far back bottom left bracket. i am about 8 months into treatment (16 months expected) and i am on the wire before my finishing wire i think. how much time will this add on to my treatment times? thanks
The assistant broke one of my brackets so I had to have it replaced a few weeks ago. If you've made it to the square thicker arch wire, they might bump you back down to the round smaller arch wire. That is why happened to me and when I asked, they said that it was to let the tooth readjust to the new position of the bracket. So, by my theory, that set me back the six weeks I was supposed to have the thicker arch wire on. You should call the orthodontist and see what they recommend.
Q:Are loose brackets normal? I had a loose bracket and got it fixed today. They said not to fiddle with it or anything, but when I eat, my tooth bites down on the bracket, causing it to shift downwards. What am I to do? If I try to not hit the bracket when eating, i won't be able to chew properly.
I know you were just at the office today, but I would call them and tell them that when you chew, you are hitting the bracket and you don't want it to come loose again. They may have you go in so they can adjust it, or they may tell you that you need to get used to it. Either way, if it does come loose again, you will have mentioned it to them.
