Q:I have a small motor that runs on 4 D cell batteries.I want to replace the power with something smaller and lighter but i cna't find any information on what to replace them with
Smaller lighter will mean less running time, if you go too small, you could start a fire. Bad idea.
Q:If you get on OKorder and look up Task Force 12v battery packs, people are selling those 10-20 times CHEAPER than the Dewalts etc. Look, all of these have the same 'c' size Ni-Cad batteries in them. You simply take the case apart and remove the array of batteries. Then you can take a low wattage soldering iron and some solder (flux core is easier to get to stick). Just use nyour basic common sense to immitate the configuration of the pack you want to replace. Another trick I came up with was to take a vacuum cleaner hose repair- heat shrink tubbing wrap ( Hesco inc. dot com) and put enough batteries in it to equal 9.6 volts and carefully attached a Male (-) / Female (+) connection plug. Now on my Dewalt battery charger I put the correspondingly opposite Male (+) / Female (-) plug. Then on the back of my 9.6 volt Dewalt drill I put a smaller vacuum cleaner belt looped where the normal ( and expensive) OEM battery would plug in. This loop of strong rubber is what holds the battery.
All good information but there is really no question here.
Q:do they have there own battery pack or do they take like AA or AAA or whatever
It would be AA Batteries, But if you wanted to save your money, buy a special battery pack that you can use with out actual batteries. It fits on to the back of your controller and when your not playing, you can charge it with a wire that connects to the top of your controller and into the usb port in front of your xbox. but just make sure that the battery pack is still in the controller.
Q:Do the nyco battery packs and charging dock or regular rechargable batteries work better for the Wii remote?
PS. If its not wired, it has to get power somewhere. Ok, so a dock and rechargables would have been a good idea. I wouldn't worry about leakage. Its rare but it can happen. Usually they would leak where they are being charged. And since you have to take them out of the controller to charge them, I don't think you'll have that problem.
Q:i bought my canon powershot sd1300 IS a week ago, and now it is saying that i need to change the battery pack? i'm confused. should i have more than one battery? and when i tried to charge it it wouldn't do anything. i'm confused.
LaLa, The Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS runs on a supplied proprietary Canon NB-6L Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery. The camera comes with one battery and multi-voltage charger. The NB-6L battery allows for about 420 shots on a full charge. And it will drain when the camera is not in use too. So if you're not using your camera for extended periods, take the battery pack out. Charge the battery in the provided charger for at least 2 hours. Read the User Manual to see what amount of time they recommend. Also to be sure you're putting the battery in the charger in the correct position Don't touch any of the metal connectors on the battery or that could cause a problem that would stop it from working! Good luck.
Q:A 90 kg astronaut floating out in space is carrying a 1.0 kg TV camera and a 10 kg battery pack. He's drifting toward his ship but, in order to get back faster, he hurls the camera out into space (away from the space ship) at 10 m/s and then throws the battery at 7 m/s in the same direction. What's the resulting increase in his speed after each throw? speed after discarding the camera (m/s). speed after discarding the battery(m/s). Please provide answer and explanation.
That is a conservation of momentum problem. Momentum is mass times velocity. The momentum of the thrown TV is 1kg * 10 m/s 10 kgm/s. The astronaut plus the battery pack he is still holding have a combined mass of 100 kg and have to gain 10 kgm/s of momentum in the opposite direction. So we write an equation: 10 kgm/s (90+10)kg * V m/s And solve for the unknown velocity V 10100V 10/100V 1/10V 0.1 m/s The astronaut and battery pack together speed up by 0.1 m/s Then do the same with the battery momentum10 kg * 7 m/s 70 kgm/s The 90 kg astronaut will gain 70 kgm/s of momentum in the opposite direction. 70 90 * V 70 / 90 V 7/9 V 0.77777 V m/s So the astronaut speeds up another 0.777 m/s to end up with a final velocity of 0.1 + 0.777 0.87777 m/s.
Q:Basically I bought some of these battery packs for my xbox controller:
Hey! I'm not an expert in the matter but I once bought a set of battery packs like these with the same recharge chords. It's just a regular USB cable input with a certain plug on the other end which appears to be purposely designed for these battery packs as I've never seen it before. Except maybe with some phones? You wouldn't be able to buy them seperate I wouldn't imagine unless you went to an electronics store, but if you'd like an extra spare battery pack with a new cable, these ones should be the same ones as your looking for: shop.OKorder .uk/i.html?_nkwxbox+recharge+cable_sacat0_odkwvenom+recharge+cable_osacat0_trksidp3286.c0.m270.l1313 I live in australia, but i'm assuming your from the UK, as the amazon link was .uk/ I hope i've helped, sorry for the long read. Cheers!
Q:I ordered a canon powershot g10 and just realized i got a lithium battery pack NOT a lithium-ion battery pack.I have heard lithium-ion lasts much longer. However it says I could buy a 2 - 5 hour extended life battery for the lithium battery.Should I cancel the order and buy a pack with lithium-ion? Or just buy one of the extended life batteries?
??it sounds like your talking about Canon the song, and lithium the song. i'm sorry im not help.
Q:I just got this phone from a friend. It's the red Upstage that came with the red and black battery cases (the thing you put the phone in). When I put the phone in the black case, the phone shows 2 batteries. When I put the phone in the red case, there is only one battery. I tried charging it but it wont show up. What could be the problem? I asked him about it and he said he doesn't know. He never used the red case.
I guess you should only be using the black case then if thats the one that works. Your friend probably broke the red one - that's why he doesn't use it and sold it to you.
Q:Why some ups battery pack to take the middle of the tap?
Mainly by the high-frequency UPS rectifier charger on the battery charging method of the decision.
