FAQ
- I have a small motor that runs on 4 D cell batteries.I want to replace the power with something smaller and lighter but i cna't find any information on what to replace them with
- Smaller lighter will mean less running time, if you go too small, you could start a fire. Bad idea.
- I need to know what I need to get. Thanks
- There are a few choices. You can get the Play and Charge kit that comes with a battery pack and a charging cable for $20 so you can charge the pack while you play. There's the Quick Charge which comes with 2 packs and a charge stand that plugs into a wall socket. This is good if you use more than one controller at a time. Also, there's the Nyko charging base which charges the packs while they're in the controllers. You can also buy extra packs at any store that sells 360 stuff (Walmart, Gamestop, etc.). I like the Play and Charge because it's cheap and dependable.
- Hello,I would like to know if anyone is aware of a solar power panel, such as GoalZero, that can charge a digital cameras battery pack. I have a Canon SLR and would like a panel to not only charge my AAA's batteries, Droid, and GPS, but most imprtantly the battery pack for my SLR.I haven't been able to find an adapter to charge a battery pack, as most solar panels utilize USB ports. The battery pack that comes with the camera must be installed into a device that plugs into the wall outlet.I would appreciate your help.Thank you all in advance.
- Forget Solar charging while backpacking. even a 5W panel which is 12 by 24 will take over half the day to do the charging. Unless you want to sit all day and charge, extra batts are the way to go.
- I heard 10 years? Anybody know anything about the longevity of the hybrid batteries
- At least 10 years. Toyota has not had one fail since they introduced the Prius in 2001. Besides, the warranty on the battery is 8 years /100K miles on the Prius and 10 years/150K in states that have the strictest emmissions standards.
- i have a 7.2V Ni-CD AAx6 700mAh RC Battery Pack and was wondering if i bought one with a higher milliwatt would that ruin my mp5 airsoft gun? (just by a little bit)
- It depends on your hop-up and your mechbox, if you have like systema grade internals it will be fine but if you have a v1 or v2 mechbox it has the potential possibly to ruin it yes
- I was playing with my FM transmitter, and in an attempt to amplify its signal I attactched a 2 AA battery pack instead of its normal 2 AAA. But this pack started hissing when I had it connected any playing. why? Did the hissing was from the pack, not the transmitter. the pack is cheaply made and slightly bent, but why did it hiss?thanks
- Obviously the new battery pack was connected to your transmitter terminals with wires of some length. These wires possibly act as antennas of certain wavelength, interfering with the transmitter's signal and existing internal/external antenna, which is perceived by you as hissing. Furthermore you did not achieve any signal amplification because 2 AA batteries give the same voltage as 2 AAA batteries but probably for a longer time. In conclusion if you want better signal go to a better transmitter.
