FAQ

how we can design the power rating of any electrical equipment. as per my understanding only way is is to change the resistance of coil( winding if motor, filament if lamp).if it is correct then the equipment will be burn if resistance is low for low power rating. Eg. resistance of filament of 10 w lamp is lower than the resistance of 100 w. generally life of 10 w lamp is higher than 100 w. but in electrical point of view the life of high value of resistance equipment will be higher than the low value value of resistance. means, 10w bulb will glow longer time comparatively 100 w bulb. since 10 w bulb has high resistance , so this bulb's life should be higher than 100w bulb. can anyone explain how to design the power rating of any electrical equipment in line of other electrical parameters.
The power rating of most power components and devices is limited by thermal considerations, since the life of them is a strong function of temperature. A rule of thumb is that for each 10 degrees C increase in temperature the life is cut in half.
I have a hanging, pull-string electrical light in my attic. This is very standard stuff. I would like to purchase an electrical device that will screw into the electric light and give me an electrical outlet. Think of this as a device with the base of an electric light bulb and an electical outlet instead of the bulb. I thought I saw one in a hardware store 20 years ago, but I have no idea if this product still exists. I can not think of what it would be called with a technical name when searching for one on the Internet. My business application is to be able to plug equipment into my attic rather than running the cord into the main house.

According to the Vancouver Sun interview with Gavin;Q: What is the future for waterfront cities like Vancouver?A: You are going to have to put up with rising sea levels; they are not going to go down. But there’s a huge difference between a foot or two over 100 years and a metre or two metres. There’s a lot of waterfront development going on but is it sea-level-rise smart? I don’t know that it is. So don’t put stuff in the basement, have all your electrical equipment on the second floor or on the roof.
In general you should put your electrical equipment above ground level if doing so is convenient. There is little utility in putting it in the basement except that it is out of the way. The wisdom of this is especially true in areas that are flood prone; global sea level rise and other climate change phenomena will affect what areas are prone to floods.
I need GPR equipment to locate plastic and metal pipes down to 1/2 inch diameter, with computer and GPS. What brand to buy?
Without knowing the specifics of the survey, here is my opinion. I really doubt the GPR equipment will find plastic pipes. They will not change the electrical resistivity of the ground like metal pipes would. Also, GPR is rather long wavelength so again, locating a 1/2 pipe would be fairly hard, unless you make a dense 3D grid across the area. Metal pipes are very easy. Purchase a 100$ metal detector instead of a ten thousand dollar+ GPR and computer.
I am planning to buy a big guitar amp from america and you dont want to mess around with something as powerful as that so i want to know is there suitable adapters out there for such a job? because i heard that some electrical equipment from America will eventually burn out if you use it in Ireland!!help!?!?!
As long as you get a proper adapter that can handle the load, you should be fine
Also, do students studying to become either one of these need to study things like how to program an java and stuff?
The initial years have a very similar syllabus which becomes more specialised as time moves on. Programming skills may be helpful but will not teach you the basics of either.

It almost sounds as though you are asking about a manufacturing plant, so I will answer from that standpoint, This could be an Extremely long list, but I will limit it to major causes. lack of organization, both in personnel and materials inexperience improper equipment/under equipped lack of knowledge outside factors such as shipping/receiving
.and what does it entail?
$40,000-$60,000 out of college $70,000-$100,000 depending on location and experience or lots of meats and vegitables
